I stand by my last blogg post concerning the Health Care Reform Bill!There is certainly room for disagreements with provisions in that bill, but you need to know what you are disagreeing with. HR3200 Sec. 1233 does not mandate end of life procedures! It makes consultations with health care professionals elegible for reimbursement by Medicare. It allows paid for consultations once every 5 years. Do a search via google for Health Care Reform bill and you can find a complete copy of the bill, available free for download.

A difficult and testing time in the lives of the elderly is the condition called Alzheimers. Caregivers should understand that is not a disease but a symptom to a condition called Dementia which is often identified as loss of memory.There are times when Alzheimer’s may be present without the context of old age but rather a head injury, depression or even an adverse effect due to an addiction.

I spent the whole day today trying to monitor what’s going on in Manila. I could not talk to anyone how’s Ortigas Avenue along Rosario to Sta. Lucia to Cainta Junction. Alam nyo naman, andun ang barong-barong ko and I was of course nervous if the place was also inundated. Instead, I saw this one on GMA News TV which I am re-posting baka naman meron pang iba dyan who is in the same situation with me.
